PART 1 – GENERAL

1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION

Notice to Bidders

• Qualified bidders may submit bids for the project as described below. Submit bids and other documents via email at toftemn@boreal.org. Bidders may also present their bids at the township meeting with appropriate paperwork.

Project Identification

• Tofte Township – Community Center
• Project Location: 9 Good Neighbor Hill Road, Tofte MN 55615
• Owner: Tofte Township.
• Owner’s Representative: April Fredrick

Project Description

• The construction of a new carpet tile floor that will be used heavily. The square footage of this project will pertain to the main hallway. Dependent on timing and product, a few more rooms may be added. This project will need to work around other contractors and current possessions unable to leave the building (but can be moved). 
• Estimated Project Cost: $20,000.00

Construction Contract

• Bids will be received for the following Work: Flooring Installation

1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

Bid Submittal Information

• Owner will receive lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the following:
• Bid date: September 12, 2024. 
• Bid Time: 7:00 p.m., local time.
• Location: 7240 Tofte Park Road, Tofte MN, 55615  Attn: April Fredrick

1.3 TIME OF COMPLETION

• Anticipated “Notice-to-Proceed” date: September 12 2024
• Contract Time: 65 Calendar Days

1.4 BIDDER’S QUALIFICATIONS

• Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.

Project Description

• The boy’s bathroom urinals, dividers, and shower need to be updated or replaced.
• Tofte Township has purchased a new water fountain that may require drywall work to install. Installation to take place near the doors to the playground. 
• Estimated Project Cost: $15,000.00

• Bids will be received for the following Work: Plumbing, Electrical, concrete work.
